Aplausos de Pie is not a brand-new NGO built from scratch: it's an operational alliance between three Venezuelan organizations with a verifiable public track record. That's how you can confirm who is behind every dollar and every bag of cement.
IMPETU Dance Studio
Caracas, since 2005. 21 years of history, 4 locations (Prados del Este, Los Palos Grandes, Paseo El Hatillo, and CC Líder), 89 active classes across 11 disciplines, from Baby Dance to professional Competition. Its competition team, IMPETU Dance Team, was named Academy of the Year 2024 and won silver at CND 2023 and 2025. Manifesto: “We don't train dancers. We shape leaders who dance.”
CLAS Producciones
A Venezuelan show-production company with over 10 years in high-quality musical theater, an all-Venezuelan team, led by Claudia Salazar. Behind productions such as Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Matilda (Avencrit Award for Best Production), The Sound of Music, and Piaf, voz y delirio (Avencrit 2017, Isaac Chocrón Award). Founder of La Escuela – Cultural Training Center, official representative in Venezuela of GOBroadway (New York).
IMPETU Producciones (IPRO)
The initiative's coordination and management arm. IPRO manages the donated resources and coordinates the work teams that carry out the repairs at each academy — from prioritizing cases to tracking every delivery — ensuring that every dollar and every material reaches where it's needed.
Governance: no egos here
The three organizations are jointly responsible; we don't compete for credit. The project account is separate from the commercial operations of IMPETU Dance Studio, CLAS, and IMPETU Producciones, and none of the three can be a paid supplier to the fund.
